Turner Accuses 'Stirrers'

Bulls' supremo Graham Turner has hit back at Andy Ferrell's comments to the Hereford Times, published this morning, and taken a swipe at 'stirrers' within the club.

The statement, on the official website, sets out Turner's reasons for not speaking to Ferrell directly, claiming: "I was not prepared to put myself out for a player who when asked to autograph a ball just before our last match for a Charity function, signed himself 'Bobby Robson'. That may be funny for the hard of thinking, but imagine the disappointment for some supporter having won or bought the ball on seeing someone had signed it Bobby Robson."

Turner also criticised some recent leaks of information from Edgar Street: "I am aware that there is a problem with someone using a website to stir up problems and in this case a player taking the opportunity to criticise through the Hereford Times. I cannot understand why Andy Ferrell was singled out for an interview, perhaps and maybe one or two others should think about events before 'going public'?"
