Torquay have signed Exeter defender Chris Todd, their third signing from their local rivals, and Walsall forward Tony Bedeau. The Gulls have now signed nine players since their relegation.

Bury have announced the signing of former Lincoln captain Paul Morgan on a two year deal. Shrewsbury's out of contract midfielder Dave Edwards has signed for Luton, with the fee to be decided by a tribunal. Wycombe have signed released Leyton Orient winger Derek Duncan on a one year deal, and Gillingham defender Leon Johnson on a two year deal.

York manager Billy McEwan wants answers on exactly how much Setanta are paying for Conference coverage, mocking the £2.8million touted last season. McEwan will also refuse to wear a microphone as Setanta wants NFL-style coverage with interviews with subbed players as well.

Chester have signed winger Kevin Ellison for a 'club record fee'. Ellison left Chester for Hull for £100,000 three years ago, and has signed a three year deal. Darlington have signed Barnsley defender Neil Austin on a two year deal.
