The official site is suggesting that the annual Open Day may be cancelled this season.
The event, which sees hundreds of fans meet the players and staff and is often a good fundraiser for the club, may be sacrificed due to the ongoing work on the pitch. Contractors have advised the club against holding the event for fear of damaging the newly resurfaced pitch.
The Open Day was due to take place on July 29th.
