With the news this evening that Rob Purdie is moving to Darlington, there are just three players (Wayne Brown, Dean Beckwith, and Simon Travis) left at Edgar Street from the squad that celebrated Hereford's promotion to League Two just thirteen months ago.
On that wonderful day at the Walkers Stadium the Hereford United line-up was as follows:
Brown, Green, Beckwith, Mkandawire, Jeannin, Purdie, Stanley, Ferrell, Travis, Stansfield, Williams. Subs: Mawson, Pitman, Carey-Bertram, Fleetwood, Ipoua.
So where are they now?
Brown is expected to stay at Edgar Street despite speculation that he wanted to be closer to his family in the north.
Green moved to Bristol Rovers shortly after the play-off final.
Beckwith has yet to agree a new deal at Hereford.
Mkandawire has recently moved to Leyton Orient.
Jeannin has left Edgar Street. No reports of where he might be heading.
Purdie has moved to Darlington this week.
Stanley is starting his second season at Morecambe.
Ferrell has made the short trip to sign for Kidderminster this week.
Travis offered a new contract at Edgar Street but not yet agreed.
Stansfield is starting his second season at Exeter.
