Tim Sills is now a target of Rushden and Diamonds according to local press reports this morning.
Sills had been linked with Aldershot but they were unable to meet the wages costs involved as Sills is under contract with Hereford United for this season.
Stenevage were also said to be interested but their chairman Phil Wallace has said: "We've been unsuccessful in our attempt to sign a striker from a League Two club but we'll continue to look around."
R&D manager Garry Hill says he wants to bring in a more experienced forward to partner Simeon Jackson, Michael Rankine or Lee Tomlin up front.
