The following is from the Norwich City former players site, Flown From The Nest:
Watford midfielder Clint Easton was Nigel Worthington's first signing in the summer of 2001. Transfer-listed by new Watford supremo Gianluca Vialli, Clint signed for Norwich in a deal that could be worth £200,000 for the Hornets. Named for Hollywood legend Eastwood, Clint didn't appear to have any qualms moving eastwards to Norwich where he will play either in the centre or left of midfield. Clint rose through the Watford youth ranks, playing in two successive promotions and winning England Youth caps. However he fell out of favour during 2000/01 and made just 17 appearances. This influenced Vialli to transfer list him. Clint is recognised as an accomplished passer of the ball.
Easton emerged as a regular member of the first team in the latter stages of the 2001/02 season. Willing to contribute defensively, he had a hand in all three goals in Norwich's play-off semi-final victory over Wolves. He added another 28 appearances during 2002/03. Hardly used during 2003/4, his contract was terminated by mutual consent at the end of the 2003/4 promotion-winning season.
Clint joined Wycombe on trial, playing for them against Beaconsfield on 10th July 2004. Obviously impressing Tony Adams, he signed a contract with the Chairboys on Friday 16th July 2004. Clint transferred to Gillingham on 29th June 2006 but was released at the end of the 2006/7 season.
