Torquay look forward to return to League

They may just have been relegated from League Two and had a change of ownership, but Torquay United look to be doing everything possible to keep their club alive and kicking. They don't want it to be nine years in the Conference as it was for Hereford United.

This afternoon Soccer AM's Helen Chamberlain paid the club a visit. She's admits to being a Gulls fan and was pictured modelling a home top with a scarf bearing the slogan we'll be back.

"It's so true what friends of mine, who support Barnet and Doncaster Rovers have said to me, that you have to take a step backwards before you can move forwards. Both of those sides were relegated and came back again. There just seems to be such an air of positivity around the club and I just can't wait for the new season. I can't wait to meet all the new players, and I think we are going to have an eye opener of a season!" said Chamberlain.

Meanwhile striker Chris Zebroski has joined the Gulls from Milwall on loan until January. Zebroski had been on trial at Hereford. They have also signed Tim Sills, recently released by Hereford.
