Jennings thanks Hereford

Steve Jennings has spoken of his time at Hereford United last season when he came on loan in an attempt to get match practice.

"I was grateful to Hereford for taking me on loan. After Christmas I needed to get out and play some games to see how my knee was. Things went well and I ended up signing for the remainder of the season," sdaid Jennings.

The midfielder is out of contract at Tranmere at the end of the coming season.

Meanwhile former Hereford United player Alan Connell scored his first goal for Brentford last night. It was a header from ten yards out.
