Hereford to play at home in Paint Trophy

Hereford United have been drawn at home against Yeovil in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The game will be played in the week beginning Oct 8th, almost certainly on the Tuesday (9th) of that week.

Yeovil used their loss to the Bulls in the Carling Cup to motivate themselves past Shrewsbury in the first round of this competition. Boss Russell Slade told reporters: "My team-talk was 'Hereford', they knew what I meant. I am delighted to go through. I know some people don't see it as the greatest competition in the world but it leads to a Wembley final."
