Former Hereford United defender, Alex Jeannin, is hoping he can score against his old club Exeter City tonight when they play his latest club Oxford United. He has 'pleasant memories' of his time with the Grecians.
"They were good times. We were very unlucky in the two years that I was there, twice we finished just outside the play-offs," he told the Oxford Mail.
"And we had two fantastic games against Manchester United in the FA Cup, which set-up the club financially.
"The last time I played against Exeter was for Hereford on my birthday and we won 2-1 at Exeter, and I scored with a free-kick, so that was the perfect birthday for me!
"Unfortunately it's not my birthday this time. That's in December."
