Looking forward to tomorrow's home game with Macclesfield, Hereford United manager Graham Turner has said that his team needs to take 'good points' at home.
"There aren't too many easy games in this league and it's time we started to make Edgar Street a bit of a fortress. We have not won in the two opening games here so if we are going to be successful we need to be taking good points from Edgar Street. We need to start tomorrow," Turner told the Worcester News.
"We are not getting carried away, there's a long, hard season to go with some good sides in there and Macclesfield will be a good side. We know about them being well-organised and having a good work ethic."
Turner also spoke about his current squad.
"There are a lot of new faces. I'm pleased with the way they have settled down very quickly.
"They have got to know each other quite well and there seems a good spirit and work ethic among them so it's been pleasant to see that understanding coming so quickly.
"But having said that I think we have got some qualities in the side. I think we have got pace, experience and know-how so the mixture together shouldn't lead us to be surprised."
