Passing game from start says Guinan

In the lead up to this afternoon's game at Edgar Street both assistant coach Steve Guinan and manager Graham Turner have been talking to the press.

"It will be a diffcult game against Macclesfield. They've got some good experienced players there, and I'm sure they'll be well organised," Guinan told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"Teams are sure to look at our results on the road, and perhaps as a consequence we might have to get used to sides trying to shut up shop at Edgar Street.

"We've got to stamp our authority on games at home, and get our passing game going right from the start. That way the wins will soon come at home!"

Meanwhile Graham Turner has told the Western Daily Press that he is delighted with the attitude of the players at present.

"The players have worked tremendously hard to get that bit of understanding," said Turner.

"We've got one or two who are very lively, very quick and can cause defences problems.

"For a change, I think we have got a fair bit of experience in there with the youngsters and it is working out quite well for us at the moment.

"A result like that at Wrexham (a 2-0 win) following a win at Barnet - you get the feeling of confidence among the players. You need that in a side."
