News Round Up

Bradford have lost the services of loan keeper Rhys Evans after he damaged a shoulder in Saturday's draw with Grimsby. He has returned to Blackpool, and the Bantams will look for a replacement. Grimsby have issued a 'hands-off' warning to Peterboro over full back Tom Newey. The 24 year old is under contract until the summer of 2009.

Chesterfield have extended the loan of Felix Bastians from Nottm Forest for a second month. The German played five times for the club in his first month. Mansfield chairman James Derry has assured fans the takeover will be completed after further delays in finalising paperwork. Derry and a consortium of local businessmen will buy the club for £500,000.

Chester will recall transfer listed loan duo Ashley Westwood and Dean Bennett if their current clubs do not agree permanent deals soon. Westwood is at Port Vale but has struggled for first team opportunities. Bennett is at Kidderminster, who are struggling to break-even on current gates. Chester need to reduce their wage bill in order to bring new faces in. Ex-Bull Neil Mackenzie was named in this week's League Two Team of the Week.
