News Round Up

Darlington have signed Bradford winger Joe Colbeck on loan for a month. The 20 year old is one of four fringe players to be allowed out on loan by the Bantams. Barnet are still negotiating with planning officials over what is and isn't acceptable as they try to get Underhill up to League standard.

Crawley's owners have hit the headlines for more wrong reasons, after turning down a woman for a job at a new 'bikini bar' due to the apparent lack of size of her cleavage. The bar will be managed by the club's chief scout Gee Evans, the brother of ever colourful Red Devils' manager Steve, who had the tough job of selecting the bar staff. He told the local press: "We're willing to leave it up to the customer to decide if we have recruited the right kind of girls or not."

Swindon are to axe seven players as they continue to struggle for money. A trio of Portugese players, brought in at the behest of the failed Portugese takeover, have all been told they are surplus to requirements while one will have his loan into the club cancelled and three more will be shipped out on loan. One of those loan depatures is expected to be striker Kaid Mohammed, who scored several goals pre-season for Wrexham before spurning their short term offer.

Macclesfield are to hold an EGM on Saturday to change the structure of the club's shareholdings. The club will seek to increase share capital by £8million, and wipe out £150,000 in debt at the same time. Exeter are expecting to lose assistant boss Joe Gallen to Millwall, either as manager or assistant, within the next few days after just two months in the job.
