News Round Up

Shrewsbury have announced that they will sign current loanee Jimmy Ryan on a permanent deal from Liverpool in January. The youngster has only played four times for the club in two months on loan. Wrexham will be without defender Danny Williams for three months as he requires back surgery.

Lincoln could be the destination of ex-Stevenage man Mark Stimson, after Gillingham were apparently put off by the compensation fee demanded by his former employers. Stimson has expressed an interest in the Sincil Bank post. Former Exeter boss Alex Inglethorpe will assist Clive Allen for Tottenham's weekend fixture as they await a new boss.

Peterboro have denied that they have received an approach from Bury for midfielder Peter Gain. The Shakers' Director of Football, Keith Alexander, worked with Gain at both London Road and Lincoln. Macclesfield have released defender Dave Morley after the player agreed to cancel his contract. Morley played over 100 times, including starting the last three games, since arriving at the club in 2005.
