News Round Up

Peterboro have identified three more targets in their bid to buy anything that moves. Grimsby full back Tom Newey, Lincoln midfielder Lee Frecklington and Chelmsford winger Ricky Holmes have all been named by boss Darren Ferguson as players that interest him.

Halifax have signed ex-Chester frontman Graham Branch on a month to month contract. The 29 year old ex-Everton player has been without a club since leaving the Deva 12 months ago. Ex-Bull Jimmy Quinn has denied he is in the running for the Port Vale job, adding that he had received an approach from Gillingham as well.

MK Dons have loaned midfielder Mustapha Carayol to Crawley for a month. The Gambian joined the Dons from Swindon in the summer, but has failed to make an impression at the club. Northwich have had their application for Administration delayed as further talks are to be held.

Wycombe have loaned Jack Obersteller to Grays for a month. The full back joined the Chairboys from Millwall in the summer but is yet to break into the first team. Morecambe boss Sammy McIlroy has been charged with improper conduct by the FA following their match at Rotherham last weekend.
