Pennock to rejoin Newport County

Former Hereford United goalkeeper Tony Pennock is to rejoin Newport County as number two to another former Bull Glyn Thompson.

Pennock recently stepped down as manager of Port Talbot. Yesterday he was in charge of the young Welsh team that lost to Italy 4-2.

He has kept goal for Newport before but left two years ago to move to Port Talbot. However he suffered a career-threatening knee injury during last year's pre-season from which he has now recovered.
