Morecambe make a welcome return to Edgar Street this afternoon for a League Two game. Whilst it will be Morecambe's first visit as a League side to Hereford, the two clubs have contested many a game in the Conference over the years.
Earlier this season the Bulls went to Christie Park and returned with a 3-0 win, but today's game could be much closer.
"Morecambe will be tough opposition; they are old adversaries - I think that they have done a great job at their club; it's well organised and they deserve their league status," Bulls manager Graham Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We know how hard it is going to be."
Turner said that they looked at how Morecambe play but we not sure what formation they might use.
"We're trying to second guess what their formation will be.
"When we played up there earlier in the season they were playing with just the one striker, packing the midfield, and doing it extremely well."
Morecambe is the third game in a segment of six and Bulls coach John Trewick appreciates how fast the games come over the Christmas/New Year period.
"We are now two games into the sequence of six, have got six points on the board and are on our way to reaching the target. We will be in on Christmas Day preparing for the next game as well as we can," Trewick told the Western Daily Press.
After today's game, the Bulls are next in action at Macclesfield on Boxing Day and then make a long journey to Bradford City on Saturday December 29th. Thankfully there is a home game on New Years Day against Notts County with a 3pm start. And that game will end this particular segment of Hereford United's season.
