Time to reflect over ESG Plans says Turner

In his latest interview Graham Turner reveals that he went to the ESG (Edgar Street Grid) exhibition earlier this week to look at the plans for the regeneration of part of Hereford.

Whilst in theory the redevelopment of the Edgar Street Football Stadium is a seperate project, in practice the two are linked. Both projects are likely to be targeting similar businesses.

"We had the opportunity to view some of the models that the prospective developers had produced. One or two little things that are a little bit niggly to us," Turner told the Official Website.

"What they are going to put on the cattle market is obviously likely to have a big impact on us. So I really want to have a look through their paperwork and brochures before making comments."

It now seems almost certain that Turner's aim of getting plans to the Council for the redevelopment of the Blackfriars End of the stadium by the end of the year will be missed.

The problem appears to be tying up businesses to be involved. The rejection by a fitness company, possibly JJB Sports, to be part of the project hasn't helped.
