Bulls manage just one shot on target

Despite having 54% of the possession Hereford United managed just one shot on target this afternoon at Edgar Street. Opponents Notts County only had two shots on target in this disappointing game.

Howver the Magpies were penalised for 16 fouls against just six for the Bulls.

Toumani Diagouraga, pictured, was given a yellow card which brings his total to five. It is thought he will miss the next League game which is against Shrewsbury on Sunday January 13th.

The attendance was 3945 including 199 from Notts County. But many Hereford supporters will have gone home refecting on the fact that the Bulls have not scored in the last two home games and have taken just one point out of a possible six.

Others will suggest that as the Bulls have taken seven points from a possible nine over the Christmas period, it's not been a bad return despite today's draw.

The Bulls remain in second place in the table as several of the other clubs in contention failed to take three points this afternoon.

1 Milton Keynes Dons 24 27 54
2 Hereford 24 17 46
3 Rotherham 23 16 46
4 Chesterfield 23 16 43
5 Peterborough 24 14 43
6 Darlington 22 21 40
7 Wycombe 24 4 40

Meanwhile news that striker Trevor Benjamin had been involved in a car accident on his way back from Bradford City last Saturday was later confirmed by manager Graham Turner.

Finally Ben Smith received an eight for his performance this afternoon. Brown, Beckwith, Collins, Diagouraga and Johnson all were awarded a seven whilst the remiaing players were given a six.
