Notts County manager Ian McParland spoke to the press after the game at second-placed Hereford United.
"We stuck to the basics and it got us a good point.
"We hit a post and had one cleared off the line, but I'd have taken a point at the start."
As for Graham Turner:
"We'll be looking to strengthen," said Turner. "We look a bit thin on the ground and, in the second half, I thought we looked a bit sluggish.
"But, if you can't win, then it's a case of making sure you don't lose.
"And, although we've not cashed in our two away wins, for some reason it's just not happening for us at home."
