Dale's McArdle may miss Hereford Game

Rochdale defender Rory McArdle may miss Tuesday's League Two game against visitors Hereford United.

McArdle suffered a 'nasty blow to the head' in the game at Lincoln yesterday whch the home side won 2-1.

It was the first time this season that Rochdale had lost two games back to back.

"Our second half performance was superb," said Dale manager Keith Hill.

"We should have won the game on that performance but it is not always about how you perform and our mistakes cost us. Sam Russell has made two mistakes in two games. Regular mistakes will cost players their place in the side."

Meanwhile club captain Gary Jones made his 300th appearance for Rochdale yesterday.
