Chesterfield have named Scott Sellars as their new assistant boss to replace Alan Knill. The former Blackburn midfielder has been working in the youth setup at Sheff Utd. Macclesfield are giving away tickets to home fans that pay for tonights game. The tickets will give them free entry to next Tuesday's home match, effectively giving fans two games for £10. Season Ticket holders will get a free ticket to bring a friend.
Grimsby striker Danny North has been named the Player of the Month for League Two. Kidderminster lost £33,459 in the previous season. Ex-Bull John Grant has extended his Aldershot contract until the summer of 2010. The 26 year old has averaged a goal every other game for the Shots, and was out of contract in the summer. Brentford have received an apology from the Football League for the late postponement of their match at Accrington two weeks ago. The FL statement indicates that Accrington should have called the match referee in the night before the game.
