Graham Turner has hit back at Gary Peters, the Shrewsbury manager, after he poured scorn on Turner's loan policy.
"I had nine registered players in pre-season and if we go up we will have to make changes. But when you've got the manager of Wolves and West Brom ringing you up and offering you players it shows we're regarded as a good club who play football," Turner told the Daily Mail.
Meanwhile Richard Prime of the Hereford Times has reported that despite all the media suggesting that Simon Johnson scored the first goal it may have been Gary Hooper who had the last touch.
"I'm claiming the first goal and I got the last touch," said Hooper.
