Hereford United manager Graham Turner has said that he fears a Dagenham backlash this evening when the two teams meet. Dagenham were defeated 4-1 at Edgar Street just over two weeks ago.
"They have done really well since we beat them - they have scored 12 goals in three games," Turner told the Worcester News.
"We would have expected a tough game down there anyway but, with the way that they have been playing, we have been making sure that we are prepared.
"The good thing is that everything is in our own hands.
"Hopefully we will get the three points at Dagenham and then we will look at the league table.
"There is still a lot of football to be played and there are four teams close together who are capable of putting together a good run and breaking into the top three."
Hereford came from behind to defeat Shrewsbury last Saturday.
"Of course it is a concern that we are conceding goals. It would be nice to cut that out all together.
"However, the manner in which we have been responding is very pleasing. With the type of football that we play it will leave us vulnerable to concede goals."
Meanwhile a young midfielder from Tooting, who is to have been of interest to Hereford United, is to join Charlton.
19 year old Dorian Smith is said to have what it takes to make the grade at Championship level according to a report in the South London press.
