Floodlight Failure at Barnet delays Start

Although Hereford United are playing at Edgar Street this evening all eyes will be on how Darlington are faring against Barnet at Underhill.

Just one point will be enough for Darlington to go above the Bulls as they have a better goal difference. This game was meant to commence at 7.45pm but according to our special correspondent at the game there has been a floodlight failure.

Over at Edgar Street a reserve/junior side has turned out against Westfields in the final of the HFA Senior Cup. Steve Guinan has put the Bulls ahead after 15 minutes.

Marcus Palmer has started for the Bulls - his loan spell at Gloucester has just finished - but there is no place for new signing Sammy Igoe. One new name in the starting eleven is 'Morgan Evans' a left-sided player.

Morgan Evans is an ex-Aston Villa under 18 player. It appears he left Villa after a dispute. Had a trial with Preston last summer.

19 year old Evans was born in Worcester and also has had trials with Liverpool, Birmingham and Yeovil Town.

Back at Underhill the game has finally started about 30 minutes late.

Kris Taylor has put the Bulls 2-0 ahead with a 'lob' after 36 minutes. Attendance 281

Early in the second half Guinan scored his second of the evening to make it 3-0.

Matt Walsh has come on as a substitute for the Bulls. He is believed to be a 'left-sided player' from Gloucester City. His manager Tim Harris is at the game.

Meanwhile at Underhill there is no score at half-time.

Final score at Edgar Street: Hereford United 3 Westfields 0
