Graham Turner has spoken to the Hereford Times about the arrival of Matty Done from Wrexham.
"He has a good left foot and plenty of potential. It's important to have pace in your side - we had that last year with Lionel Ainsworth and Theo Robinson," said the Hereford United manager.
"He's not coming in as a replacement for Clint Easton. They are both left-sided players but they are very different. We will see how they get on."
Turner spoke about both Dean Beckwith and Trent McClenahan who are yet to agree new deals.
"Both should have let us know in writing at the start of the week whether they were accepting or rejecting our offers."
Turner has spoken to Beckwith's agent but says he's not heard anything from McClenahan.
