GT Confirms Hooper Offer

The official website is reporting that Graham Turner has made an offer for former loanee Gary Hooper.

The 20 year old was officially transfer listed earlier in the week by Southend and is attracting good interest, while talks are ongoing with Toumani Diagouraga on a permanent deal as the PFA list of avaiable players is published.

The site also gives the first official confirmation of the renaming of the Floors-2-Go stand, but the Sun Valley name will remain on team shirts for now. The suggested investment in a sprinkler system is also going ahead, with the full video interview due to be available later today.

Meanwhile, BBC Hereford and Worcester are running an interview where Turner confirms increasing the bid for Hooper: "They had an offer. It was increased three weeks ago, and they've put him on the list to test the water. We have gone up but we are not going up any higher." The Hereford Journal also report season ticket sales of 350 in the opening days of sales.
