Bradford have failed to hit the 9,000 target of adult season ticket holders for each person to get an additional free ticket, falling 700 short despite a late flurry of sales of the £150 tickets. Brighton's former manager Dean Wilkins has left the club following his demotion. In a statement he said "I was extremely disappointed by the decision taken by the club."
Halifax boss Chris Wilder is expected to quit the club following their demotion to the Unibond League. Wilder has been at The Shay for six years, turning down larger jobs to remain loyal but told the local press: "For us to be relegated three leagues for something that happened seven or eight years ago is devastating." Walsall are to name former Lincoln manager John Schofield as assistant boss after he ruled himself out of the Cambridge job.
Bournemouth's takeover could take another six weeks to resolve, and they remain under a transfer embargo until it is complete. It is likely to be mid-July before the Football League agree to any takeover plan and the club can sign players again. Lincoln's local paper estimate that it will cost an average of £38 per game to watch the Imps home and away next season, with fuel costs adding nearly £5 a game.
