News Round Up

Former Bulls target Kevin Ellison has turned down Stockport for a second time, three weeks after Chester accepted a bid. He snubbed a bid in February after what Stockport claimed were 'contractual issues', while he rejected the latest move after Chester were claimed to be under a transfer embargo by the PFA. Claims that Chester have been repeatedly late in paying wages continue to circle the club.

Stockport are claimed to be in receipt of a second bid for striker Liam Dickinson from Derby. An initial £250,000 offer was branded 'derisory' but Rams boss Paul Jewell has confirmed to the press he is waiting for an answer on the second offer. Blackpool have incurred the wrath of supporters by upping ticket prices by as much as 50%, bucking the general trend this summer of price freezes. Away fans will pay more than home supporters with a £20 membership saving £5 a game for locals.
