Ex-Bull Jimmy Quinn has quit Cambridge United, the club have confirmed tonight.
The 48 year old narrowly missed taking the U's back into the League but then saw his side decimated with eight of eleven starters from the play-off match leaving within three weeks. The club will issue a further statement on Monday.
Meanwhile, Trevor Benjamin is believed to be in talks with Wycombe. Their new boss, Peter Taylor, is the same man who took him to Leicester for £1.5million in 2000 and is looking for a 'big target man' according to the local press. Benjamin started only eight games in Taylor's only full season at Filbert Street, scoring a solitary goal as he struggled to fill the boots of the departed Emile Heskey.
