Hereford United manager Graham Turner is hopeful that a meeting will take place within the next month of all the interested parties involved with the football club to try and sort out the redevelopment of the ends of the Edgar Street stadium.
"We had meetings yesterday with council officials. There seems to be a surge of enthusiasm from the council to help us," said Turner.
"There is a meeting to be arranged where we all sit round the table - the Richardsons, the Council, ourselves, the Edgar Grid Square people - to see whether we can't come up with ideas of what can be placed at the either end of the ground to help the development. I would think that meeting would take place within the next month.
"There certainly seems to be fresh interest from the Council to help us get it resolved one way or the other."
Turner said that there were no extra items that had to be done at the ground because of the promotion to League One. However a few improvements have been or will be made.
