New Trialists Profiles

Tonight's game with Southampton ended 0-0, with a trio of new trialists on show:

Sam Oji: Former Birmingham trainee who had loans at Doncaster, Bristol Rovers, and Leyton Orient before signing for Orient permanently in January. Was released at the end of the season.

Jerry Ani: 23 year old Nigerian who chose Malta as his first port of call in Europe. 18 goals in 04/05 season with second tier side Naxxar Lions FC saw move to 'giants' FC Valletta but injury limited his chances. Moved on to the United Arab Emirates, then back to Malta where his goalscoring earned him a call-up to the Nigerian Olympic side.

Richard Langley: Released from Luton in the summer. Previously with QPR, Cardiff, and with a dozen caps for Jamaica. Now 28, the 6ft midfielder is rumoured to be a target of a number of clubs.

In addition to these, 'Dave Carter' was now under his real name of Ashley Paul Robinson, while Craig Moses was also named again.
