Palmer to the New Lawn?

Former Hereford United striker Marcus Palmer has been linked with a move to Forest Green of the Blue Square Premier. The youngster was released from Edgar Street at the end of last season, but Jimmy Harvey may be willing to give him an opportuntity at the Gloucestershire based club.

Harvey said: “We're pretty close to finalising a deal for another striker to fill the Fleetwood-type role.

“We've got Celi (Adriano Rigoglioso), Conal Platt and a few boys who can play off the striker but we'll need more support for Andy right up top.”
