Sherjill MacDonald has told the Birmingham Mail that he wants to play regularily in a first team even if it isn't with West Bromwich.
Currently on tour in Holland and Germany, MacDonald has spoken about pre-season.
“I will see how it goes and hopefully I will get a chance,” he told the Birmingham Mail.
“If I don’t I don’t know what will happen.
“Maybe I will go on loan again but I am not really thinking about that.
“I just want to get in the team and if that doesn’t happen we have to stay positive.”
MacDonald noted how his very successful loan spell at Hereford United had helped him.
“It taught me a lot about English football, which is more physical than Dutch football,” he added.
Last night Graham Turner admitted that the chances of getting MacDonald back at Edgar Street seemed unlikely. He cited one reason as the use of seven subs this coming season and thought MacDonald might fill one of them.
