The Vice Presidents Club AGM was held tonight with around 40 members voting to raise prices across the board.
Contrary to the club's policy of holding ticket prices this summer, the VPs agreed to raise their membership prices from £450 to £525 - a 16.7% increase. The move comes after it announced another record total donation to the Football Club of £55,800 - nearly £1,000 per member.
Outgoing Chairman Matthew White stood down from the Committee, as did one other, but two more were elected on to keep the Committee at eight.
The longest part of the night after a lengthy debate on the ticket prices was from Graham Turner, who took healthy applause from the room for the success of last season. Turner praised the work of the VP Club and it's Committee before turning to questions from the membership:
Turner confirmed a budget based on average attendances of 3,900 for the coming season. He expected away attendances to be significantly increased, and that the extra TV money from the Football League was around £113,000.
On Toumani Diagouraga Turner announced that Watford wanted to keep him, but the agreement for Lionel Ainsworth meant the Bulls had the right to take him instead.
On Trent McClenahan he said his only contact from his was a text message from his agent, and an unknown person called 'Tom' who rang him to decline the offer on Trent's behalf. The contract offer has now been withdrawn.
On Craig Samson he hoped to tie a deal up with him within the next three or four days, echoing John Trewick's comments of last night.
On Sherjill Macdonald he said West Brom expected, with Premier sides able to name seven subs, Shergar to be a regular on their bench for the coming season.
On Robbie Threlfall he confirmed a deal should be completed in time for him to play in the Wolves friendly. He heavily praised Liverpool's conduct, adding that Threlfall had several offers on the table.
