Ex-Bull Friendly News

We'll start this round-up at Swansea where West Brom were the visitors.

Sherjill MacDonald played all 90 minutes for the Albion but failed to score in this goal-less draw.

Ryan Green started for Bristol Rovers in their 3-2 defeat by ADO Den Haag but was replaced before half-time after being injured. Andy Williams is currently injured and didn't take part.

Tamika Mkandawire has recovered from his injury probles and played a full game for Leyton Orient who were held to a 1-1 draw by Stevenage Borough. Mkandawire had a shot blocked on the line with just 60 seconds remaining.

Alex Jeannin is back at Oxford after a trial at Mansfield. He played the whole of the second half in their 2-1 win over Cheltenham who had Richard Langley, who played for Hereford in mid-week, in their side. Langley was said to have 'shown some useful touches' in an otherwise disappointing Robin's display.

Gary Hooper put two past Grimsby in Scunthorpe's 4-0 win over their near neighbours. He was the sponsors man of the match despite being subbed after a kick on the knee.

Stephen Gleeson and Michael Rose started for Stockport against a Manchester City XI. Gleeson beat keeper Schmeichel with a shot only to see it bounce off both posts. Final score 2-2.

Despite news elsewhere that he was to play for Rotherham today in their friendly against Hartlepool, there was no sign of Hayden Tinto who, it is thought, played for the Bulls last night.

Theo Robinson lead the attack for Watford but ended up on the losing side as the Hornets were defeated 3-2 by Barnet. Robinson had several shots on or close to target. Lionel Ainsworth was an unused sub.

Ashley-Paul Robinson didn't feature this afternoon at Morecambe where Carlisle were the visitors. Robinson joined Carlisle on Thursday after leaving Hereford United.
