Turner hopes for another friendly

Graham Turner is hoping to arrange another friendly early next week to give a few players that haven't featured much so far, like Sam Gwynne, Craig Jones and a couple of others the chance of some more football.

It will also give Turner the chance of looking at some more trialists.

"We've got a couple of trialists in tonight. We'll get a clearer picture of that situation. I'm disappointed that we haven't got the squad settled earlier," said Turner in his latest interview with the Official Website.

"We've got a couple of championship clubs who have got to let us know about loan players.

"We are still in the market for strengthening the squad."

Turner was asked whether he might offer a contract to any of the current trialists.

"Not right at the moment. We've still got one or two to look at and one or two continue with us."

Will there be signings before next Saturday?

"I very much hope so. I would expect there to be."
