Southend have confirmed they have retained winger Hal Robson-Kanu for another month from Reading. Brighton have received a second transfer request from defender Joel Lynch. The former trainee has become frustrated at a lack of first team chances.

Mansfield's problems with player registration could be worse than first thought. The FA have confirmed they are investigating whether striker Aaron O'Connor is still registered with former club Grays, which could cost them 14 of the 18 points earned so far this season based on previous punishments. The Conference are also conducting a seperate investigation into 'more than one' player registrations over the first two games of the season.
Chester have announced plans to rebuild their Deva Stadium. The 16 year old breeze block monstrosity is planned to be replaced by a four tier construction housing 40,000 sq ft of office space, shops, gymnasium, and other facilities on the council owned site. The current 6,000 capacity would be increased despite drawing fewer than half the capacity to yesterday's derby with Shrewsbury - half of which were Shrews fans.
