Turner is a Footballing Man - McAllister

Whilst the bookies appear to have written off Hereford United's likelyhood of getting anything from tomorrow's game against Leeds, Gary McAllister will treat the game seriously.

"We'll give Hereford the utmost respect on Saturday," said the Leeds manager.

"They've found the jump up hard from League Two, but they are a club that I admire.

"Their manager/chairman is a footballing man, and we must respect them.

"It'll be a tough game, but we go into it very confident."

Meanwhile Leeds United assistant manager Steve Staunton told BBC Radio Leeds:

"Although they are bottom for the table they will be up for it, like every team that comes to Elland Road.

"We know we are going to have shift the ball quickly and try and break down nine or 10 men behind the ball, so it will not be easy."

Finally the Hereford United manager has been quoted by the Worcester News.

"We are still reasonably buoyant because I thought we played quite well against Scunthorpe and should have got something out of the game.

"There’s no depression at the club. We face a good challenge at Leeds and there will be a good atmosphere but I have told the players that can work against Leeds.

"If things are not going right, the crowd can get on their backs. It will be an interesting exercise.

"We have got enough knowlege of them to know where their threats come from.

"We wanted to play at this level and go to places like Elland Road. We have got to go and enjoy it."
