Adams Fails In The Loan Market

Brighton boss Micky Adams has failed to bring fresh faces in for Saturday's match with the Bulls.

They go into the game without veteran striker Nicky Forster, who is out for several weeks with knee cartilage problem, and suspended defender Tommy Elphick with Adams still looking to reinforce - but travelling to Brighton appears to be the biggest problem for potential new recruits:

"I have spoken to a lot of people and agreed with a lot of managers about players coming down here but for what ever reason - and distance seems to be a key issue with a lot of them - we have hit the post a few times."

Brighton may include winger Kevin McLeod for the first time in six weeks following knee surgery but defender Adam Hinshelwood remains sidelined after over two years out. He had an hour in a reserve match in midweek but will be slowly nursed back after four operations to cure a cruciate knee ligament injury first injured in 2005.

Meanwhile Hereford United have said that they have sold 294 tickets to Bulls supporters for Saturday's game.

They advise supporters without a ticket not to travel to Brighton.
