One of the Hatters' biggest earners Parkin, who cost them £340,000 in 2006, missed half of last season injured. Huddersfield have loaned defender Tom Clarke to Bradford for a month. The 20 year old has made only one appearance, in the JPT, this season. The Terriers have also extended Liam Dickinson's loan from Derby for a third and final month.

Tranmere are to offer discounted tickets for current and former servicemen and women at tomorrow's match with Crewe. Walsall have joined a local schools scheme rewarding school attendance with tickets to matches.

Bournemouth chairman Jeff Mostyn has left the club in order for the remaining board to seek new investment. Stockport striker Matty McNeil will have final say whether a complaint will be made to the Police over the challenge that put him in hospital last weekend. Ex-Bull Stuart Watkiss has been confirmed as staying with new Grimsby boss Mike Newell as his assistant.

Northwich have sacked manager Dino Maamria after he was placed on 'gardening leave' last month. The situation remains unclear with Maamria unaware of the reasons and Northwich refusing to comment. His brother, a football agent but not his representative, was a guest of the club but not in relation to the player.
