O'Leary's sending off harsh says Oldham Manager

John Sheridan, the Oldham manager thought the second yellow, or straight red still to be confirmed, shown to Hereford midfielder Stephen O'Leary wasn't warranted.

"I don't think it was a sending off. I think the lad just made an attempt, our lad has got up straight away. Nowadays you get sent off for anything. He (the referee) could have said to the lad cut it out there's only five minutes to go. The lad shouldn't have been sent off.

"I thought we had opportunities to score goals. Even Hereford had one or two chances.

"I thought our performance, our football was very good at times."
