The Bulls entertain Carlisle in a League One match at Edgar Street on Tuesday night.
It will be the first meeting of the two sides since the 2004/5 Conference season. Back then it was Carlisle who won promotion through the play-offs, with the two sides sharing a goalless draw at Edgar Street after the Cumbrian side beat the Bulls 3-1 at Brunton Park. Overall both sides have nine wins, with six draws.
Having collected a first away point with a disciplined performance the Bulls will be looking for results at the other end of the pitch. A was it/wasn't it goal in the JPT and a penalty have been the only goals to cheer in the last seven games, and chances through those matches have been very limited.
The Cumbrians will come to Edgar Street looking for three points to halt a dismal slide down the table. After securing 13 of the first 15 points this season they have collected just one point from a possible 18, and conceded at least twice in each of those six games. Striker Danny Graham, a former Middlesboro trainee, has scored ten already this season after seventeen last term.
Hereford United vs Carlisle United, Edgar Street, Tuesday 21st October, 7.45pm.
