Reaction from the Managers

Firstly Brighton's Micky Adams:

"We did everything we possibly could to get the three points. Hereford came with a game plan to get people behind the ball and frustrate us - and from that point of view you have to say well done to them," Adams told the Brighton Website.

"We tried everything we could to get that elusive win but unfortunately we couldn't break them down. It was a frustrating day for everybody."

Adams thought the referee could have awarded a penalty when Joe Anyinsah appeared to be bundled over in the box by the Bulls' French defender Bruno N'Gotty.

"That was the one key decision for me and the referee got it wrong. It was a blatant penalty - but that said, overall in the game you have to be disappointed with the amount of chances we created, although we did create the better chances.

"I wish we could have got that win for the fans. They were excellent and kept us going and at times we were inches away from scoring that elusive goal."

Secondly Graham Turner for Hereford United:

"It was a point we badly needed. It was a performance that we badly needed," Turner told the Official Site

"We came here with an idea of how we wanted to play. We are hoping that is a base to work from.

"The first thing today was the discipline and shape of the side. Making sure we did not leak the sort of goals that we did at Oldham last week.

"With our current position we have got to be pleased with the point.

"Young Sam came in for his first game at this level. Did OK, filled a good position for us, kept the shape with Clint, an experienced player on the other side.

"Bradley went out, Matt Done wasn't considered simply because we needed that little bit more discipline."
