In the Johnstones Paint Trophy five League One sides fell to lower graded opposition.
Both Peterboro and MK Dons lost 1-0 at home, to Dagenham and Bournemouth respectively, Bury beat Stockport also by the only goal, and Darlington beat Huddersfield 1-0 - prompting the Huddersfield board to offer refunds to any Terriers fans that paid to watch the game. Carlisle also continued their poor form, losing to Rochdale on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Chester bowed out on penalties to Morecambe, while Shrewsbury hit Wycombe for seven with Grant Holt scoring five of them.
In the Conference ex-Bull Brian Smikle scored for Kidderminster in their 1-1 draw with Northwich. Crawley remain top after a 2-2 draw with Forest Green, with Kettering second after a 2-1 win at Eastbourne.
