Turner pleased with a point

Hereford United manager Graham Turner seemed pleased with a point from this afternoon's encounter with Walsall.

"We showed a bit of grit and determination and a couple of good headed opportunities. One in each half, one to Brads and one to Andy Williams.

"There is a claim that the ball was over the line for the goal. We can't see from where we are. But in the end against a side that are going well in the League it was a decent performance.

"Their two front lads were a handful. I though generally we controlled things quite well.

"We got a point today and one or two of the sides around us lost.

"There is a concern we are not creating enough chances and not putting the ball in the back of the net.

"I think we have missed the presence of Steve Guinan and his ability to hold things up and bring other players into play."
