We are in desperate need of three points - Turner

Looking forward to tomorrow's game against Walsall, Graham Turner has admitted that the sole objective is to win.

"We are in desperate need of three points," Turner told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"Walsall are expected to bring a thousand supporters. We will be disappointed if we don't get a decent atmosphere with a four thousand gate.

"But that doesn't particularily bother me. What we need is a good performance and three points. That is the sole objective.

"If we only get two thousand through the turnstiles there will be no moaning about the loss of revenue or anything like that."

In the interview Turner revealed that the squad is to have a session with a local sports psychologist.

"We have got a very good sports psychologist that occassionally comes in. He's been with the England team in the past so he is very experienced. We will have a session with him very shortly."

Meanwhile Jimmy Mullen, the Walsall manager, has also spoken in advance of tomorrow's game.

"I've been pleased with the way in which we have defended in recent games and hopefully this will continue on Saturday," said Mullen.

"The team spirit is first-class, but I have told the lads to keep their feet on the ground.

"Saturday's game is the first in a tough schedule of matches throughout the month of October, but we are fully focussed on the task that Hereford will present right now.

"Everyone is capable of beating each other in this League and we've got to be at our best every single game to earn the right to take the points on offer."
