Cup Game 'respite' from League

Graham Turner has told the Worcester News that the visit of Dagenham and Redbridge next Saturday for the FA Cup first round tie will take the club's mind off the League.

“While that match will not be easy, they will come to Edgar Street highly organised with plenty of physical presence on the pitch and the confidence of a reasonable start to the season.

“Having said that, we are a league higher than them and we will be at home. Therefore, it will be our own fault if we do not qualify for the second round.

“That match takes place on November 8 which gives us a nice respite from the pressure of obtaining league points.”

Last season the Bulls had an outstanding run in the Cup and no doubt Turner would wish for the same this season however first the Bulls have to defeat the League Two side.

“In order to get the glamour ties this tricky one must be overcome,” commented Turner.
