Northampton look for Hawley Replacement

Northampton Town are looking to bring a extra player to replace Karl Hawley in before their game against Hereford United next Saturday.

Hawley, who played for a short spell for the Bulls several seasons ago, has returned to Preston where he is currently based.

"I'll definitely be looking to bring someone in on loan before we play at Hereford on Saturday," said manager Stuart Gray.

It rumoured that player might be Gabor Gyepes, who was sold to Cardiff City in August. Gyepes is on the fringe of the first team squad at Ninian Park.

Meanwhile Northampton's on loan keeper Frank Fielding came on as a sub in England's Under 21 game against the Czech Republic last night.
